I only own one Dolores Gray cassette, but I am certain that better-distributed titles such as It's Always Fair Weather are available on cassette as well. I usually prefer to buy LPs or CDs, but Warm Brandy was only available to me on casette at the time. I have since found a spot on the web that has it. I recommend getting it in some format with a bigger cover since a cassette does not do justice to the cheesy '50s cover. I was a bit disappointed with the cassette after I bought it as I expected the sultry suggestiveness that Miss Gray brings to her interpretations of musical numbers on the stage. Instead, it is the sort of album a '50s version of a mack daddy would have put on the turntable to get his dates in a more pliant mood. I'm not much of a fan of the Julie London school of lounge singing, but it might grow on me. I have a tendency to buy things with a set expectation. When I don't get what I expect, I put the disk aside, disappointed. However, if I put it on later in a more open frame of mind, I often find I like things I didn't at first.
